Cool

Big thanks to everyone for all of the feedback on our catback exhaust system. Ever since we first released it in 2008, people have been in love with the sound.

The reason we discontinued it was because it was very expensive to make, and thus wasn't profitable enough to warrant the effort.

If we decide to bring it back, it would have to be with a few conditions...
  1. I'd want to improve a few things on the design. None of this would affect the sound, and if anything, it would make the quality even better.
  2. We'd have to raise the price. Probably by ~$100 or so. This would both cover the cost of the design updates as well as make them fiscally worthwhile for us to produce.
  3. Since these are all custom mandrel bent (rather than being pieced together), the cost of production on these is very high. We'd need to guarantee that they'd move quickly, so I'd need at least 10 preorder deposits to get the ball rolling. I would expect production to take around 2 months for the first one to ship.

I realize these conditions may scare some people away, which I totally understand, and which is why I didn't bother asking a month or so ago when we decided to discontinue the product. However, we have received a lot of interest in bringing it back. There's a thread over on evox discussing this very thing.

Alternately, if price is an issue, we could keep the price at $1000 starting price (as it was before) and simply make it a single exit.

That being said, would YOU still be seriously interested? Single exit or dual? My feelings won't be hurt if you say no, so please be honest.
