About HKS BOV piping

I just bought a hks universal bov and the only way I can install it is put it on stock pipe and use zip ties to fasten it. I saw couple evo x with hks bov use aftermarket bov piping and it don't move at all. I just have some question about the piping. I saw a bov piping on ebay which fit evo x. Will it works just like hks pipe. And will it fit any other aftermarket intercooler or only fit stock intercooler? Thanks guys

Please don't use zip ties . There has to be hose clamps out there that will fit.

Yah, ironically, was looking at all of HKS' products today, and noticed they had a recirc kit. Sounds like what you need.

I used zip tie on pipe. Not on bov. I just make sure it won't hit anything inside my engine bay.

I did searched HKS official website. But looks like they don't sell any separate special pipe. I try to find some piping just like the pipe in bov kit for evo

Can I still hear the sound after I install the recirculation kit? One of the train I bought this bov is I like that sound. Didn't expect so much problem

Mine is recirc'd and is still audible. But again, I don't drive a X so I'm not sure how much you'll hear based on locations.
And just to clear things up, are you using zip-ties on your intercooler piping instead of hose clamps? Because if so, I wouldn't recommend.

Vent to atmosphere is NOT recommended on any evos. This can cause a rich condition to where the tune will overcompensate and could swing to a lean condition. You can still hear diverter valves with the right intake. With the ets intake, it is quite loud. I can pull the part number for the recirc piping for you when I get home.
