Evo x MR sst tranny acting up

My tranny is acting up. I have a 2011 evo x MR with only 6k miles. The car drives perfect but after 10 min or so if I put the car in park then put back into gear I get the "trannsmission service required" light and the car won't move just revs when I hit the gas. It also says slow down transmissions hot. ??? I get the code P181C or sometimes P1637. Someone please help

That car is prior salave title. So no warranty.

Also if I shut off the car and let it cool down it drives fine until I put it in park again.

There is def something wrong there.

You say it's a salvage title, what happened to the car before? It only has 6k miles on it.

I would take it to a shop that has lots of experience with the SST like Kozmic, SSP or Kaizen and get them to do a full trans flush and maybe an MUT tool re-teach.

Also the car was hit hard in the front right. Which I did all the repairs and paint. Now trying to figure out the tranny :/ I think I'm gunna drain the sst fluid. Measure it and see if it's low?

The only way to measure it is to drain it into a container and measure that. I hope a good fluid change will help you out.

It's a process that re-teaches the computer in the transmission about the gears, clutch plate widths and positions etc.

It's only available through the dealership or through a well qualified SST shop
