Evo x Turbo Suggestions

Hey everyone, I have looked and looked and looked all over the forums and I don't know if I am not using the keywords or what but I need some suggestions/ideas. Just so you get an idea of what I am looking for I am looking for a turbo that can use the stock housing, is good for 450+hp, Quick to spool (for 1/8th mile tracks because that is all that is around here) and good for roll racing. My current mods are :
Ets intake with KN 6" filter
Full 3' ETS exhaust with open dump downpipe
3.5" ets intercooler
Full ets intercooler piping
Cobb ebcs
Cobb AP OTS stage 3 tune (will be getting dyno tuned with turbo)
Synapse diverter valve

Please any info would help, thanks

Pump gas? Do you have a budget? Maybe a used fp green on e85.

In addition to a turbo you'll need a fuel pump and injectors regardless of what fuel you choose.

You probably won't get those goals with pump gas on a small turbo like an fp green. You'll need to look into an fp red/black or bbx full turbo with cams maybe to reach that 450hp goal.

I would look into the bbx full turbo. They come in both ball bearing and journal bearing variants. Of course ball bearing costing more, but it will probably spool a tad faster than the other. This is the turbo I ordered. Still waiting for it though. I also had the bbk-b on my 9 which I loved.

Another option could be maps ef series. Not sure which one will suit your needs as I have no experience with them. Not sure if they come ball bearing either.

You can go with fp but they require cores for all there turbos now. So if you can live with the down time maybe that would be an option.

thanks for the info! I was looking at the FP red and green but didn't know if there was a better option. I was gonna buy a used stock turbo and have that one sent off so that I can have a back up turbo if I trade in or whatever.

If you must stick with stock replacement, I'd ditch the stock housing and go with a stock replacement like ATP's 3071 or 3076. Stock housing turbos just have too much back pressure in my opinion and will never have the reliability of a Garrett.

I've ran a gtx3582 with success. Car made 400awhp on a mustang dyno. ATP has them for a decent price.

There are so many great choices to pick from but you don't need to go huge a FP RED with cams and a hilt head with a good tuner should make a clean 450whp with out killing the car.

Also if I have A superteck Valve train package for sale if you don't already have one.

The GTX3582 is a great turbo, but if you want stock-like response you will not be happy with it. Its an awesome top end turbo and will pull right to the rev limiter. It really hits hard around 5000 rpm. You can see my dyno results with it here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...whp-352tq.html
