Compeition Clutch Twin Clutch pedal

I had my CC twin plate clutch installed last night and in doing so it was converted to push type.

Right now there is about 2 inches of free play at the top before the pedal gets a little stiffer. It pretty much has to go to the floor to completely release the clutch. When releasing the pedal it grabs the second I start to lift.

I was curious if there is a way to having it engage towards the top and then install a clutch stop so it's not pushed to far? Can this be done by doing the normal clutch pedal adjustment (turning the rod behind the clutch pedal?)

Thanks

Yes, your only method of adjusting it would be through that rod. Pedal stops are often suggested with those style twins.

Thanks. I just realized if I use a pedal stop the engine probably won't start because the clutch isn't all the way in. Is there a way to disconnect that?
