ETS is a quality piece. It is going to be very loud as it has no mufflers. If you are concerned with noise go with the regular V2 or Quiet version.

I've got the extreme with a test pipe. It can be annoying sometimes, but every time i hit the track i'm so glad i got it.

If you don't mind a loud exhaust i would get it. A hi-flow cat would make things a bit quieter too, and likely very livable on the street.

I immagine the next step below this (in terms of loudness) would be a large free flowing muffler setup with a test pipe. In fact, that setup may be less of a restriction vs the ets extreme + cat.

I have the ets quiet and it isn't really that quiet at all. I can only imagine how loud the extreme must be.

Really depends on the test pipe and turbo setup as well. Stock turbocharger cars are going to be a bit quieter than a big turbo car as well. I love the V2 extreme.. It's really aggressive and sounds great if you like a LOUD exhaust system.

That pretty much sums it up.

Hey mike, How much does the new titanium full exhaust weigh? I have the extreme but i'm looking for something in Al or TI. I just want a straight pipe single exit that's as light as possible

Would love to hear this exhaust in person but not any members here in Dallas area with it. Any sound clips?

I think it sounds great, but the sheer volume of the sound can definately get on your nerves depending on your tolerance for #racecar.

Oh, OP, when i first bought my evo, it had the ETS extreme with a full cat (not high flow) welded in a testpipe. It sounded good yet the volume was pretty tame. I'd probably recommend that. If that doesn't work, you can always buy the v2 rear section.

Why dont you just take off the stock catback and fire it up...stock cat w/o catback vs straight pipe turbo back...it should give you an idea
To me, it's pretty much unbearable and I'll need to carry extra pants all the time here in California, because my floodgate will be wide open every time I see a cop.
