Made from the best Billet 6061-T6 aluminum, the Evolution X chain guide has been machined to meet the factory guide specifications with tighter tolerances to reduce chain wobble at high RPM's. It also implements the factory wear strip and is a direct bolt-on for the 2008-2014 Evolution 10. This timing chain tensioner is the last piece of the puzzle you need for a higher revving Evo 10.



The Evo 10 4B11T timing chain tensioners are cast from hardened plastic from the factory. While acceptable on stock engines, this plastic has been known to warp after seeing repeated high engine RPM's, which lowers their life considerably. This also allows for slight deflection of the chain, causing minor timing inaccuracies. By installing a billet timing chain tensioner from MAPerformance, you're ensuring your motor will be able to rev higher for longer.
