Help! Differential leaking from rung off bolt (pics included)
Yeah I wonder about that too... I'm gonna go ahead and drain the remaining fluid and replace that while I'm at it. I just find it hard to believe that a bolt that was suppose to be torqued to 57 ft. lbs would have wiggled loose and fall out torqued to that spec. I Should have the bolt by Wednesday.
I bought the car used it has 75,000 miles on it, I have not done anything but tuned it. It has every bolt on under the sun on it, clutch and flywheel upgrade as well so I'm not sure, it wasn't leaking when I got it so the previous owner or whoever must have not tightened that bolt to the proper torque spec.

Yea prolly a good idea just to drain it and drive it for a 100 miles or so then just drain it again to make sure any dirt or just that is in there gets pushed out. Well at least you noticed it before something bad happend.
