Evo Camshaft Sensor P0365 CEL
Evo Camshaft Sensor P0365 CEL
Hey, so i got a P0365 code that poped up when i was at idle. The car is lightly moded and tuned. I didn't drive the car hard that day at all. I cleared the code but it comes back after a few seconds, i re-flashed my ECU but it didnt work, tried cleaning the connector and it didnt work either. The car is running fine at idle and cruising, but for now i stay out of boost until i know if having a busted sensor can **** my **** up. I checked my timing chain while i was checking to see if the timing skiped a tooth, but the chain is way to tight for that to happen. Im thinking either my sensor is dead or ECU took a dump. Let me know what you guys think, and if it's safe to continue and drive it as usual (in boost)

Turn the motor over until the - marks on the cam sprockets face each other and the TDC mark on the crank pulley is over the indicator cast onto the timing cover. The exhaust cam position sensor like to take a dive because it is so close to the manifold and sees too much heat. There are heat shields available for it.
been dealing with this dreaded p0365 camshaft position sensor code for about 2 months now. spliced in a new harness and the new sensor by the manifold is only about 3 months old. anyone have any ideas or cheap sensors leftover?
