The X clutches are all weak by comparison. Dont know that putting in a killer clutch is the answer either---but there are plenty of clutch options and opinions on this forum.

English Racing has shown the Comp Stage 2 Unsprung clutch (over the last couple years) to be a great one for your basic 400 ft/lb or less EVO. I'm planning on going with their recommendation and having them install one in my 14 later this year (sooner if my OEM goes south).

GL. Please post up what you do and how it goes..

Awesome information! I have been thinking about what kind of clutch to purchase for daily driving stock block power levels.

Seriously. Pull the pill and see how things are. It's five minutes to get it out, and 15 to bleed the clutch.

ive done research and talked with my tuner and the main tech at the performance shop and they said it can be done but theyre wondering what would be the next weakest point in the driveline.... id rather go through the clutch than replace diffs and stuff like that..

The benefits are awesome though. Longer stock clutch? Tighter clutch feel? Honest engagement point? Count me in!
But honestly, I feel ya, and that's my main worry. I would have done it by now but I'm just worried I may get lazy too often on the shifts and start pounding on my transfer case.
The stock (or otherwise) sprung clutch should handle the majority of shock. But what about the high revs?
Rest of the car I think would be fine, but this trans tho. I don't know how much of my nonsense it can take without the clutch pill.
