wideband placement

so im in the process of ordering parts and a wideband bung option is available for both the down pipe and the test pipe. is there a difference if you place it in either or and which would be the better option.

"Recommended installation requires welding the O2 sensor bung in the down pipe at least 16" away from the turbo. The oxygen sensor must be positioned vertically (wires pointing upwards between 10 and 2 o’clock) to prevent damage to the sensor’s ceramic heating element and protect sensor against water condensation"

Was easier to just copy and paste this

Won't make any difference. I would just go with whatever will allows a cleaner installation of the O2 sensor harness. Are there any nice grommets in the floorpan of these cars that allows for a nice under-carpet to testpipe passing of the harness? Any such chassis openings for the stock O2 sensors? As the last poster said, make sure the sensor is at the very least pointing slightly downward.
