Hey guys, did some searching but couldn't find a good answer to this. I currently have a cobb ap and wanted to get the grimmspeed ebcs, but since it doesn't look to be compatible with an OTS map i may get the cobb ebcs. Is there any performance difference between the 2 in the long run if i get a pro/dyno tune later on when running more boost?

 

They both use the same MAC solenoid. I run a grimmspeed on my IX and a Cobb on my X. Both great products, but if you're using an OTS map get the Cobb. If you're gonna get a pro tune get either one

Most tuners dont care but will prob recommend grimspeed. I have a grimspeed n ran it with the OTS map for a few months without issues.

 

I have grim speed with Cobb. Works well
