I wouldn't say mine's sweeter, you've got more TQ earlier on than me.

I do have the open scroll kit, so that's the big difference. You do seem to hit peak TQ around 200-250 RPM sooner, with more than me on tap even sooner than that.

Actually that was meant for the other guy
gh3ttorom3o
He posted he has twin scroll, with 93 and bolt ons. His dyno sheet had a lot of TQ coming on really early.

I am also running 93, since I failed to mention that earlier.

Haha yea I see that now!

Either way, there are so many variables with dyno plots even on the same dyno, it's really just a number. I'd be curious to know where his linear torque comes from too though.

I think both of your guys graphs look great, and would make a super fun car!

Friend just made 482/380 on e85 in his X with the v band open scroll.
I made 548/460 on e85 in my 05 evo 8 with a 2.3L.
The issue with these turbos is the turbine housing
Is causing back pressure issues.

With a set of stage 2 cams and springs, quality mods and the open scroll kit could probably hit 500 whp with 100 oct on a Mustang dyno.

Mustang or dynojet? I'm on e85 open scroll also but I haven't put mine on a dyno but seat of pant currently pulls super hard

The main reason to go with a tubular kit is if no stock frame options meet your goals in terms of power/spool/back pressure.

For the last couple years, the EFR line has been the "new hotness" largely due to its marketing. Real world results, while impressive, are not exactly mind blowing.

There are a lot of great bolt on turbos for the evo. But if you have the $ and want to go with a tubular kit, an EFR based kit is a solid choice. A precision turbo based kit from ETS, or a GBT turbo kit from Owens Development are also good choices.

My goals are about 400-450hp on 93 gas and the option of going e 85 later. I would like to save money obviously and if I am not mistaken a direct bolt on would do just that right? Please enlighten me some more on this matter. I am, obviously an ignorant fool.
Thank you.

400-450whp is easily attainable with stock frame turbos. MHI TF06-18K will get you to 400. A Blouch 2.0XTR or an FP Red can get you to 450whp with supporting bolt-ons.

Personally, I think the MHI TF06-18K is a great bang for the buck.

Hey guys. I finally got my CBRD kit installed by CBRD. I just wanted to thank Chad for great customer service and very nice results. The car pulls like crazy and it is a blast to drive. Even after a week I still laugh like an idiot every time I get on the gas. The shop is top notch and Chad knows his stuff. He answered every question I had, and was very patient with all my requests. Excellent job, great results and overall just a great experience. Thank you
Here is a picture of the dyno results:

Would really like to see one of these on kill with cams and E85. They've been out for a while, hard to believe no one has done it.

Same. Would love to even see E85, cams, built block and boost past 26psi.
