Kind of funny how you can point fingers at me but if something like that happened to one of you, you would know it wasnt you because clearly you talk like you "know how to drive" and I do not.
Not worth the energy to argue with me. Just get the car fixed and continue to hone your clutch skills. Life is a full time learning experience.

My clutch on my 2008 started slipping out of nowhere at 1000 miles. Rear main seal bolt had loosened and leaked fluid onto my clutch. They wanted me to authorize 700-800 for tear down and then see what the issue was. I *****ed to Mitsubishi until they opened her up on their dime and found the issue. Still on that clutch at 45k, been at 400whp since 15k and on my ef4 for a year and 5k, no issues.
I was working at the dealership at the time and they first told me that the nut behind the wheel must be loose, lol.
If you don't think it was you fight, otherwise your new clutch won't fare better if it was you.
If you were doing something wrong you should have been smelling the clutch during slipping/burning it. Weird. Evo X = most challenging manual I have ever driven. Parking garages and starting at slopes is very difficult and knowing where the friction point is located is extremely important. Use your e-brake on hills if you are having problems finding the g-spot

Alot of the OG members are pretty jaded about clutch stories. Myself included .... Although I myself have been victim to lubricants leaking onto a clutch disc. It ruins them almost instantly depending on the severity of the leak. I have replaced clutches and not noticed the leak the first time around. ... nevertheless having to replace it again after repairing a bad seal.

I think the problem may be that even though you have driven manuals before, the evo clutch is far different. Release point is very high and it's easy to leave your foot on it and have it be somewhat engaged. I'd bet money you fried it by riding it just like that. Sucky situation, but get an upgrade with a lower release point.

evo clutch is not anything extraordinary then any other sport car clutch. You should never ride a car with your feet hovering over the clutch pedal from the begin with . Hence to dead pedal on your left... If anything then hover over the brake pedal But you should rest your feet on the dead pedal, period.
You have to find a grabbing spot , that is all. That is not a clutch problem. Stop blaming the clutch , its pathetic.

This just happened to me too. It's 2015 gsr but it started slipping at 10,500 miles, I haven't launched it and everything is stock , and if it is me then I guess I'm not driving this car correctly at all😅

It is you, sorry. I'm at 19k now, +100wtq more than stock since 1,500 miles, track days, tons of full throttle tuning pulls....

Still stock clutch. (for now)

i went 5 years without driving a manual before i bought my brand new evo. how does someone blow a clutch that quickly?

there is literally two things you need to know. dont have your foot on the clutch at all unless changing gears and learn to rev match properly. that is all.
