EFR 7163 TS versus Stock turbo

Many people have asked for an overlay of our CBRD RBX kit versus a stock turbo car-

This is the Twinscroll IWG kit versus the same car with bolt on's on stock turbo-

typically an EVO X makes 210-225whp here depending on weather- if its a GSR- MR's about 20 less-

here is the kit-

here is the chart-

Solid is RBX 7163- dashed is stock turbo

I hope you enjoy!

"In action" is extremely misleading. Meh, I'm still debating on the kit. I want to see it proven. If I'm taking my car a couple hours away to have this kit put on, there has to be a someone that has shown what it's capable of.

I'm sure it's very responsive. I wonder what the upper limit of the turbo is. Someone posted a Subaru with a 7163 ripping deep into the 10s.

Ditto also anyone running a built motor with this yet? Better yet any strokers out there? Curious to see how far this can be pushed and stay reliable.

If I remember right this car was stock block, stock cams, the RB-X TS kit with supporting bolt-ons. 93 octane.

I believe someone has his kit on order for their built block, I haven't heard anything more on that outcome yet though. I'm really interested as well, might spur me to get my block built

Only way to make sure the EFR stays reliable when pushed is to run turbine speed sensor and keep it within the prescribed limits from BW.

I was just reading about the speed sensor. Think I read this turbo could push 550-600hp but sounds like it may not be to reliable at its limit.

I'm curious as to what CBRD thinks is the safe limit for either the Open Scroll or Twin Scroll 7163 on the stock block is - with whatever supporting mods they'd like to add.

For these options: Weekend only - track, weekend toy - street, daily driver.

Currently running the RBX Twin Scroll with pretty much full bolt ons (only missing the LICP, which honestly I don't plan on getting). I daily drive mine, 140 miles minimum 5 days a week (70mi to work). Been great so far.

You'll max out the stock block before you max out the turbo. 380-390wtq..
