need advice

ready to do clutchpack. with these mods i have, what other mods can i do to squeeze out more power from this turbo? turbo is rated up to 500hp on 93. e85 is not available in my area

cobb ap, catback, downpipe, midpipe, intake, ebcs, turbo inlet, hfc
ets fmic, uicp, licp
ams stx500 turbo
id1000 injectors
dw65c fp

keep in mind this is an MR

any advice would be greatly appreciated

high flow cat or test pipe.

if your getting it tuned, u should skip on the cobb ap and go open source.
list looks pretty good

i do have hfc. forgot to put in on the list. i started with cobb stage 3 package.

Some nice cams and supporting mods such as springs and retainers will really amplify the power band.

Also some arp head studs if your doing 30 + psi

Invest in that tune! not only can huge gains (or losses) be had, but so can the reliability for the rest of the setup

right now im tuned at 400hp 320 tq with this setup. i am considering doing cams. i daily this car. how is that going to affect drivability? also, what kind of gains can i expect with cams?

Just get some GSC S1 and call it a day. You don't need big cams if you're staying stock motor.


What shop do you go to?

I agree. GSC S1's are great on the X. Even on the dinky stock turbo they pick up 15whp. No need for anything bigger as far as cams go unless you want to shoot for over 600whp.

im staying on stock motor. i use the car as my daily. i go to agile performance. don't know if you've heard of them. they mainly specialize in subarus

For a stock motor and daily driver, GSC S1 are your best bet then.

I know Agile. I'd steer you to either CBRD or Moore though...they're top tier Evo shops and aren't far from Baltimore. We're fortunate to have access to some really great tuners close by.

i will contact moore. do you recommend doing valve springs?
