2016 lancer

Alright guys so I can seem to find this answer but maybe you guys can help me out. I bought a lancer and I'm trying to turbo it so I was wondering if the evo x and the lancer have the same exhaust manifold, they don't make one for my car, I can only find them for the evo x

I'm not entirely certain if the 4b11 and 4b11t have the same exhaust manifold spacing but RRE does make a turbo kit for you and could certainly answer most of your questions.

From what i know, sourcing all the parts and making sure everything works will put you at a price much higher than trading in the lancer and buying an evo. just my $.02

I have built a Lancer GTS with a RRM kit. Not worth it, I traded up to a Evo after snapped axles, and the manifold isn't the same.

Many of us have base lancers turbo'd so if that's what you want to do, then go ahead and do it. I could have bought two evos by now, but I enjoy the project and making this car uniquely my own.

To answer your question, yes, any evo x manifold will fit. The evo x has twice as many studs as we do, but I've had two different turbos hanging from them and no problem. If you really want to , you could weld up some brackets and bolt them into the block where the old supports used to be. I'm doing that now for good measure, but it's not necessary.
