So I'm a proud owner of my own Service Required AYC pump issue. Dropped it off with mitsubishi (a well rated one) about 30mi away. They fixed it, two days later the issue is back. I've noticed about anytime the car shakes in anyway the light comes back on which makes me think it's a bad install maybe a loose seal somewhere (maybe I have no idea what I'm talking which is far more likely ).

Well either way I figure moving it from the rear wheel to the trunk and putting that box potentially on springs would keep make it last longer.

(Note I considered just posting this in the AYC megathread but the purpose of that seems to just report the issue, if that was the right place just let me know and I'll move it.)

 

drivenfab have a ayc relocation kit that they move the ayc to the trunk too
