hey fellas, upgraded myself to an evo x from 04 RA,,,
now Im thinking puuting money into my car,, im notice that my throttle response is slow... When I step on the gas pedal the acceleration takes forever to pick up. anything to suggest?

and what does a throttle booster do? (heard it from someone with a civic)will that help throttle response? thanks for helping out a new evo x owner!

 

Is the clutch okay?
Id start with A stiffer engine mount that will stop your engine from playing basketball and will feal more responsive!
Metal shifter bushings too if your a manual.

 

Probably has absolutely nothing to do with it but may want to check spark plugs as well just food for thought if you haven't changed them already

 

Did you go from an RA to a GSR or an MR? RA to GSR you're going to notice turbo lag. The Evo has a bigger turbo and takes a bit longer to spool.

There are at least a dozen threads about first mods that you should take a look at. Quick answer is a 3-port boost controller and tune.
