Any Tomei cam users?

I am in the market for cams, springs & retainers. I can get a good price on brand new Tomei cams through a local supplier, and I was looking specifically at the Procam 270 intake & exhaust. They're 270 duration, 11.5mm lift. There doesn't seem to be much info (that I can find anyways) for the 4B11, just some for the 4G63 which people seem to like. The other options are of course, GSC S2's or Kelford 214B's.

I would like to know if the Procam 270's are any good and if they make power. If I can buy local, save the exchange rate, shipping costs and brokerage costs & headaches at the border I would like to know

Tomei seems to be a mixed bag around here, but I enjoy mine. Run great, sound great, helped with turbo spool, I have no issues to report.

Which Tomei cam do you have? I thought you had the Kelford 214A's

I was running 214As until around two months ago when I went to a more aggressive cam. I didn't like the Kelford price this time around and decided that Procam 280s were the way to go.

Never had an issue with Tomei products.

Yeah I know Tomei products are good from what I've read & heard. I just never heard much of the cams on the 4B11 that's why I asked. Basically wondering if I should be spending 2x the money to put GSC S2's in my hand or if the Procam 270 will do a similar job.

In North America I don't think they sell as well as the other brands for whatever reason. The S2s are slightly more aggressive than the Procam 270s (not much) - I suppose your future plans with the engine will dictate whether it's worth the extra expense.

I'm just looking to max out the stock shortblock, nothing more. Head work is all that's left to do. Car is already around 470/345 so if I can get another ~100hp & ~40ft-lbs to the wheels between cams and race gas over the stock cams and pump 94, I'll be happy.

FP Black in a ported hotside with an AFI manifold. Fuel is pump 94, and I plan to do a race gas tune as well.
