More power

TL;DR I need more power, i dont want to just pour money into it, but willing to if you provide sound information. Help. Plz.

So ive been reading through all the threads, hours and hours of reading. As of now i have ets stage 3, and cobb access port v2 on a 2010 evo. All installed by previous owner (good friend of mine) never dyno'd so no idea of power figures. Turbo back exhaust, 3 port boost controler, DP, TP, and intake. I want more power, it feels fast, but im not really pounding 13'+ sti's with similar mods im posting faster laps and i feel like my skills have kind of peaked for the track i run. I want a little more power, what have you done to reach 500s as safely as possible? Ive had 2 600hp cars before and i really dont want the heartache of high hp cars again so i want to avoid full build if at all possible but being as im new to evos is a bigger turbo and support mods the better route or going to a better built english racing block (for example) the best route? Sure budget and what not, but if its money well spent then i will spend the money to have a reliable set up. What have you done? What would you do again, anything helps thanks for reading.

First off are you talking drag or circuit? Makes a big difference, don't always need power to go faster on a circuit.

Second get a real tune or at the least a proper e-tune, the Cobb is limiting to what it can do. Are you in a MR or Gsr? Cobb is crap on the MR.

Third, you'll never get close to 500 on the stock turbo. I'd look at builds and it'll give you an idea of what you will need to get to your power goal.

A safe 500+ setup is a turbo kit. Pick your flavoer of Vband kits and go with a Precision gen2 5558 or Precision 5858. It'll make ~500 on pump gas and 550-600 on E85 depending on how hard you're willing to push the stock block.

An MHI18k stock frame turbo upgrade is a viable option, but it won't brake 500. You'll end up around 425 on pump gas, and high 400's on E85.
