Arrow How does a turbo turbine wheel come into being?

Turbine wheel is very critical to a turbocharger, does any one know how does a turbo turbine wheel come into being?

Recently I found a web explains it in a good way:

It is my understanding that TiAl wheels cannot be cast like Inconel wheels can. I believe that Mitsubishi tried this, and the alloy was never quite right. It has to maintain a certain phase, and the only way to cast the material left Ni all over the surface, which in turn lead to unintended premature failure. I think that I remember something about TiAl wheels using additive manufacturing. I even asked about this, but I never got a clear answer. Certain aircraft turbines are made out of the material.

We know titanium billet compressor wheel is CNC machined from a solid material, it says casting is also possible, but we never tried.
