dont try to set any records with the boost # on the gauge, I would hold steady at 25psi, but actually re-set the "maps" to 21-22psi, as this is the "sweet" spot for the evo turbo (stock) and any more you will be running too high with the turbo rpm to be efficent with regards to the HP.

^^^^ yeah... doesn't this have a lot to do with what fuel pump/injectors, ecu setting(flashed, etc), plugs and other mods... may not be able to compare to other cars unless you are apples to apples...

Tell me what plugs you have, and when the last time you changed them was. Click on my "cartoon" and view:"posts started by smokedmustang" see if any of your problems are answered there!

i have read: too much boost can "blow" out the spark, causing this, I run the "colder" NGK plugs and they have to be changed all the time, or I get the WOT burps, but I can make the problem go away with the plug change. I am at a loss on this bro, I dont think I can help you, unless you are releasing to the atmosphere too soon. Good luck, and GO STEELERS!!
