Install Torque short shifter lost bottom white plastic ball socket cap. Need Help

Was installing the Torque solutions short shifter and was removing the white plastic ball socket cap off the bottom of the OEM shifter and lost it. Does anyone know if the EVO 7/8/9 part will fit EVO X? MIT-MR232147. In the picture circled in Red what was lost
