CNC Werx Cylinder Support Systems??
CNC Werx Cylinder Support Systems??
Anyone have experience with them? Says their rated for 800whp but cant find much info about them, plenty for Hondas, but not for Evo Xs.. Spun a rod bearing and going to either send this block to Golden Eagle for sleeves again or get the Cylinder Support Systems. But lets be real, the cost of getting an to Evo and keeping that Evo at the point where true sleeving is 100% necessary is expensive, and I'm not sure I want to go down that road again lol. This cheaper alternative sounds much more appealing at this point. So if anyone has experience with a 700-800hp Evo with these share your experience.
If your block was re-sleeved previously I don't believe it can be modified by CSS. They take the stock semi-closed deck of the 4B11T and add aluminum inserts into the coolant paths. This retains the stock sleeves of the OEM block but creates a closed deck.
I would contact them to make sure that the service could be done with other manufacturer sleeving.

If you are worried about sleeving and its cost but also want 700hp-800hp... I dunno what to say.
Proper sleeving with parts and labor will run about $1600, which is a small fraction of the costs associated with building a 700-800hp Evo.
