I hope you are being sarcastic, if not then as GPTourer mentioned above, 4G63 wasn't exclusive to Mitsubishi cars nor Lancer Evolution. Whats even better is that the first application of 4G63 engine wasn't for a Mitsubishi car but for a 1984 Dodge Colt, then it was also used in Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser, and as GP mentioned, Hyundai Sonata. And yet none of that diminished the fact that Mitsubishi was able to evolve the 4G63 engine into being one of the most capable/durable engines in the world.

Wow, they are emulating the styling of a dead sexy $60K+ car. The horror! How dare they make them in red and blue as well. Don't they know Audi makes their cars in those colors.
They should just keep the Evolution the same a dated looking econobox with a crap interior. What are they thinking changing it? That's not what evolution is about.
Surely they can't make a car that is fast, stylish and comfortable all while being totally practical and relatively affordable.

I thought real evo owners really did not car about looks on the car, they were more interested in performance. Why is everyone so worried about what the car is looking like. So what if it looks like an audi or mazda. I just care about performance and the price tag.
Look guys, the evo is fast all for a 30,000 price tag. its top dog in this area. that is what really matters, as long as its kept in this price tag and dont loose performance I could really car less if it looked like a domestic piece of **** ford.
And another thing, people talking about adding more luxury to the car, bad idea becuase it will increase the price tag. It so happens that adding another 15,000 to the car will compete with porsche, bmw, corvette. these guys can go just as fast. I dont think mitsu wants to compete in this area since these cars have speed and luxuary. You ever sit inside a nice bmw or porsche you will see what im talking about.

I fell in love with the motor all my friends call bullet proof and the boxy sedan that could whip a 2 door SS camaro. I bought a IX because I felt this is the last year my dream car will be made. I couldnt pass it up. Do you all think the X has the power to become so many peoples dream car like all the other evo's? Do you think the X is truly a "Lancer Evolution"? Just curious.
By definition the next "Evolution" is always better than the last. Therefore, you cannot say that it is the last true EVO......DUH
