I bought a IX because to me it is the last true Evolution
"Last true Evo" - know how stupid that sounds?
If you bought the Evo IX because you really love it, fine. It's a great car. Just enjoy it.
If you bought the Evo IX because you were impatient and now you have buyer's remorse, don't take it out on the people ancipitating their purchase of the X. Rational comments about the looks (subjective), powertrain, potential, etc. are fine. But idiotic babbling about what's a "true" evo or not is just plain f**king dumb.

The 9 is a great car so was the 8.. but guess what thats yesterday..... Deal with the fact that the world is going to evolve whether you like it or not.
No proven facts about the X yet and people still talk ****.. Give the damn car a chance.

I purchased a brand new IX SE because I love the look, the performance, and they are proven. The X is a nice car but its leaning a little to far to the luxury side for my liking. I am sure it will do well though.

If I were to guess about the EVOX's performance, I'd say:
The Manual transmission X will be edged out by the 9 in 0-60 and 0-100 sprints.
The DSG X will just about be even with the 9.
However, the X, both manual and DSG will edge out the 9 on the track. The S-AWC system will let the X be thrown into corners more aggressively allowing for higher entry and exit speeds.
But I also think the performance on the track between the Manual X and the DSG X will be very close, and probabaly be up to the driver. I think the tradeoff will be between the DSG's lightning upshifts and a Manual's more accurate and faster downshifts.
But as always, we have to wait and see.

The evolution stopped at the IX.. the X is a new concept.. with a new beginning.. it holds nothing from the previous models.. how is that evolution..
within evolution of things there is always a trace, roots, something that reminds you of all previous edition, which this piece of **** doesn't.. its all about money and the marketing dude.. why you think this evo is based on stupid feedback.. a real enthusiast wants something Raw, innovative, holding up to its legend..

well there was a difference evo 1 through the evo 9...there were all changes..so the evo 10 is another change like how it was on the evo 1 - evo 9.
