*Official* don't like the X thread
I love it how people are speculating about about a car that isnt even out yet. All we have are a few pictures and press releases to feed our need. The X may suck, but we dont know the truth until it is released.
As for the IX being the last "true" Evo. Whats going to happen when the next gen comes out after the X? You will be driving a car that is 8 years old and dated. Technology will continue to move forward making each car better than the previous.

For all of you that are asking why in gods name would Mitsu get rid of the 4G63. Well it has been stated numerous times that it is a dirty engine and cannot be made to pass current emissions restrictions which necessitated a move into a new direction.

And I agree that with all this technology there is something being lost, I beleive by the time we get to the EVO 12 the car will be driving itself EVO 20 it will be flying. Less human control. ANd you know what that means, More kids who dont know how to drive an evo killing them selves in accidents. People who own older EVOs respect their cars, most likely cause they know the car could kill them. ANd that kinda force feed back of manual no technology makes someone aware of themselves and what their car can do.
Sigh, its a new day. but we still must press on.

have a side by side comparison of the Evo X and the Evo IX, the IX looks so damn outdated, it's not even funny.
I love the design of the IX, but the X is a beautiful car and when the X MR hits, it's going to be turning heads just as much as the IX has.
