*Official* don't like the X thread
I think it's pretty ironic that the PRO-X people are bashing the ANTI-X by claiming, "How can you bash this car when you havent even driven one yet!?"
Well...probably the same way you can 'stick up' for a car that you havent driven yet either.
BUT, the one positive thing I can say about the X, is that there will be a good number of people who will trade up for one, thus making it easier to get my Evo 8/9 at a good price

I kind of mixed emotions on it. New things are good, but my philosphy is if it isn't broke, don't fix it. The 4G63 has been around since around 89 (maybe earlier) and has been proven. I like the fender flares and interior. The front and back bumper looks hidieous to me and doubt I'll grow to like it. Like other have said, it seems like it loses its lust for raw power. I don't think they are going in the right direction with the cars, check out the 2000+ Eclipses. It's made for an everyday average driver, and took away everything that was fun in the GSX.
The Evo X can have over 400 hp, but it doesn't make me want to buy it if I don't like the exterior. If this doesn't make much since, my bad, I've been up for about the past 25 hours. Time for bed.

Umm how do you come up with these conclusions? So the pro X people are open minded and try not to bash a car until they drive it and thats wrong? Ok so I guess all black people carry guns and steal stuff right? I mean I can't assume they are decent because I never had a black friend right?

It's just I've seen how badly Mitsu can mess up a good thing when they're trying to "broaden its appeal". In other words, I'm not buying it. Figuratively and literally.

First of all, comparing a debate over a car to years of racism and stereotypes is not only disrespectful, but it's down right ignorant. Try to come up with a better analogy in the future.

Give me a brake
This car is what it is and leave it at that. The comparison between the IX & X seems like import vs. domestic. I may not like the exterior look, but the performance of the car may kick a$$. Won't know till I get to test drive it though.
Honestly I too believe the EvoX is lacking its aggresive look now and yes it can look aggressive if you add cosmestics but stock looking the X does look poor....and about the 4b11 ionno what to say about it soo ill wait on the tuners to get a hold of it and then ill evaluate. And yes the last Evo is the IX cus the X is a totally different platform IX>X....manual racing>paddle racing
