Why I'm not buying Evo X
You think Mitsubishi dealerships are bad....buy a Benz and get rape by them, Lucky for me I know alil about cars
Kinda feel bad for the old people thats getting rape $750 for an oil change
$500 to inspection of your tires (just looking at your tires and saying its bad cost 5 bills)

You're right. I used to own an Audi (and currently work for Audi) and it's damn expensive to get service done on a luxury car. Primarily because they know they can charge more because their clientele have the money to burn and typically don't know jack about cars. So, they say "oh, $500 for that, OK, please do it."
Since Mitsu is targeting a new consumer with the Evo X (a guy who would consider a 3-series, A4 or C-class) they had better step up their game in both the sales and service areas. People considering those other vehicles have a level of expectations far beyond what most Mitsu dealerships will ever be able to deliver. We all put up with the crappy service because we love our car so much. Plus, many of us enjoy doing routine maintenance ourselves. This new customer they are targeting with the Evo X most likely will not put up with crappy service, nor will they want to do anything themselves.
Mitsu's got themselves in a predicament by attracting a new consumer. They're writing a check their dealerships can't cash.

well, if they want to bring Mitsu service upscale, guess who will pay?
None other than you and I, setting up a standard for cookie-cutter dealership, more upscale waiting areas, training for technicians, advertising, etc, cost money
all equals less flexibility with price on car purchase, more expensive service,
i would rather take my chances with the way things are right now

when i sold my viii then went out to buy a ix the dealer told me all this crap about service and warranty i laughed at me and told him i already had an evo im buying the car not the service nor the warranty which 90% of time get avoided
your going to mod the car your going to fix the car
