~ USA Vs. Canadian Pricing - it better be PAR
car prices in canada is extremely outrageous. i compared a nissan 350z last night... USA base model 27k. canada base model 47k. why the difference?!!?
im all for people crossing the boarder and buying cars, im definitely doing that next time. show the canadian auto counterparts that they cannot dictate the price

I don't know if the government is just assuming the 2008 Evo can't be imported (along with the previous generation Evos), or if this has something to do with the new immobilizer system law in Canada, or if it’s the stupid bumper crash ratings but it looks like any hopes of saving a few dollars and buying in the US are now crushed.....

I have a buddy at work that imports about 10 cars a month.
The EVOX cannot be imported, and he says it is because Mitsu has decided that the US bound car is only to be sold for the US market. Apparently they have the right to do it, but it is being challenged in court (or at least the concept is with other manufacturers).
He says it is not because of the immobilizer law or crash ratings.
