Looks like the new eclipse with an evo front

 

If they do end up building that on the heavy-*** galant platform (like the current eclipse) with the same/similar AWD setup as an Evo...can you even imagine how much it will weight? Add 500lbs to the current 3500lb eclipse... scary, scary.

 

But I don't think they will, I heard rumors that the next generation Galant and possibly the Eclipse replacement will be built on the extended new Lancer platform due to lack of funds by Mitsubishi to build another platform for larger cars which actually is not a bad thing considering that the current Platform USA (Eclipse, Galant, Endeavor) is not the lightest in the world to begin with.

looks to 'futuristic' for my taste...

 

nice hopefully they keep Galant platform and i will have another reason not to buy a mitsu

 

looks beautiful imo. i think its time for Mitsu to start competing in looks against Infiniti and Mercedez since it's already solid in performance

 

If the next eclipse looks like that equipped with the 9's or X's AWD + 4b11T, and maybe 1-2k above the model now, it ll make a very attractive coupe.

 

i know that picture is just an artist's rendering, but if it is similar when produced... i dont see how it leaves any room for aftermarket aesthetic mods (body kits etc) since to me it looks like it'll come stock with a wide body kit lol
