X MR sticker price. str8 from a mitsu salesman
NO WAY I buy buy an evo x if its even close to 40k. The 335i(coupe) is not much more than that, has better interior(that red leather package is unbelievable), build, luxury, is gorgeous, free maintenance for 4 years i believe, better warranty, and with i think $1500 you get 100ft.lbs/90hp reflash from vishnu tuning. I love the evo's looks, but if i cant get the gsr w/sss, aero pack. and nav. for 36k or the mr w/aero for 36.5 im gona save up a little bit longer for the 335 coupe
A base 335i coupe currently costs $40800 and I see you have never bought a brand new BMW because you would know that once you add leather, navigation, and few other goodies, the price will suddenly skyrocket to more than $50K. Even if you do European delivery, all you will save is around $2000 which you'll end up spending and even more on your European trip given the current value of US dollar.I am not saying 335 is a bad car because it isn't, but Evo X and 335 is still a bit different price range. And once your 4 year BMW warranty expires, servicing a Bimmer is much much more expensive than an Evo.

i agree with the maintenence program but 335's got for 40-43k used. they r one sexy car in person though.

The mr will come in most likely around 36,500, and that's including leather interior as standard. Add in technology package and rockford fosgate sound system, and that's about 2,500. With the destination charge, you should still be at just under 40,000. I assure you it will not be more than this; I've talked to a number of different dealers, and this is pretty much what they've all said to expect. The GSR will come in around 32,500, and with sss package, navigation, and the aero package, you'll be at 37,000 tops. I've got a white GSR already preordered with all three options, and this is what my dealer has told me to roughly expect. I had to place a deposit down, but I made clear that this was dependant on the condition that he would guarantee that there will be no mark up... and he agreed. He promised me that the car will be msrp plus destination, and that's it. There will be no premium, but he says that the sticker price is non negotiable. I think that's fair, although you know he'll break when I am presented the final price of 37,000, and I say, "do it for 36,000 and I'll drive it home today." No one is stupid enough to throw away a sale that large over a thousand bucks, I assure you.
There is no such model as the 135tii. Those photos are of the tii Concept, which was unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show. It's not even an announced model, but if it does make it to production I would expect a healthy premium over the 135i.
Ehhhhhh, It would be great if the base 128 would cost less than $30K, 135i will cost around $36K in BASE configuration, add to that the fact that there is no standard navi nor AWD system and I see this car will be more expensive than Evo X MR when similarly equipped. And as people have mentioned, there will be no model named 135tii, it was just a concept. Also, since people here have no problem spending a bit more on 335i than on Evo X then I really don't see any point of even getting 135i considering that 335i sedan will be about $3000 more expensive in base config, has 4 doors, more interior space, and it's not that much heavier than 135i which itself is actually also pretty heavy for a 2 door non-AWD car. I like BMWs but 135 just doesn't make a sense to me given it's price point and also I actually find Evo X better looking than the 1 series which is something I would never have thought of saying about Mitsu and BMW. As much as I like the 3 series, I pretty much hate the disproportioned looks of 1 series, I have seen the hatchback in Europe, it's the least attractive car in BMWs line up that I have ever seen.

Anyway, the so called all-new 1 series that will come to US in 2008 ain't that new which is actually evident in the cars styling which has been around in Europe since 2004.

Is anyone thinking what I am? Before I had an EVO I thought an EVO would be the ultimate (Good accel, great handling and room for mods to improve it over stock) I'm sure the X is an improvement over the IX-a few tenths of a second here, slightly better handling with AYC- It takes the EVo experiance up a point-maybe.
My next car will be the Nissan Skyline. Yes, its about 30-25K more depending on who you talk to-but the performance I beleive, will be on par with exotics RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Now I understand Nissan is doing its best to deter modding-but come on.
Bottom line-the Nissan Skyline is the next step if you own an EVO currently. I own a Green powered EVO IX and I aspire to own a Skyline.
I want to keep my 9 forever, but maybe if I have to I would part with it for a new Skyline. I will not trade in my 9 for the Evo X. I will test drive a X and probably consider it, but I'm waiting for the Skyline-anyone else?
