There is no RS for the NA market (yet), so no.

Redline is 7,000 for the previous EVOs, yes. Fuel cut, however, is 7250rpm unless flashed of course.

Curb weight 3594??? More than 300 lbs. heavier than IX MR, which is 3285. Unbelievable.

I was at the Mitsu dealership earlier and I started talking to one of the salesmen. He had a bulletin that was sent to all of the sales guys at his dealership in the beginning of December. I read through it quickly but the information that they got about the X was 320hp and 312 torque with a 0-60 under 4.5. He said that this was the info they were all being instructed to tell people interested in the X. It sounded like a sales gimmick and I don't necessarily believe that at this point, but has anyone else heard this?

Yeah, we all heard this about a year or so ago when Mitsu was touting the prototype X concept stating that the next Evo would have 320hp. The stated power is the stated power...291hp/300tq. It will not magically change when the car hits the dealers in the next couple weeks. Why do people keep thinking that's going to happen

Thanks for the clarification. I remember specifically saying that I didn't necessarily believe this, just in case someone tried to accuse me of such, but to your credit, my comment was subtle. I was looking for responses from anyone who had heard this again recently. The bulletin was dated December 7, 2007, not "a year or so ago" but that was subtle too, and in all fairness I did not include that actual date.
