Evo X Pricing Official!!!!
lets not compare the X with new GT-R,
however, if you look through all the "hater" posts and mutliply that by 7 o8 thats how many pople want to get one. we shall see where the early adopters demand and supply curves fall initially, there might be a slight premium on it, i would say by late spring youll be able to get one closer to invoice.

Hmmmmmm, http://media.mitsubishicars.com/deta...43744&mime=ASC so basically a base Evo GSR will retail at $32,990 which is actually great news considering that the outgoing Evo IX retailed for about the same, so all this talk about $34K can be put to rest. BAD NEWS is that there are 3 asterixes next to the MSRP with explanation on the bottom that says Suggested Retail. Dealer is free to establish his/her own mark-ups or margins.
But it was a known from the beginning that those cars are gonna be marked up (see also GT-R) from the beginning so no surprise there. Good news for me is that I have a friend who is the manager at my local Mitsu dealer so I'll get that car at the MSRP or even a bit lower
Now, should I wait for MR or go with GSR, ahhh life is all about tough choices
Anyway, this is good news. Looks like Evo still will be the best all-around performance car bang for the buck.

God this is ****ing irritating.
What's the logic behind waiting for a price on the MR?? They must know by now, so someone with a business background fill me in on why they wont announce it now?

If you think most dealers are going to sell these for MSRP you're kidding yourself. Simple economics here... if there's a waiting list the price is going up. It's really hard to justify paying 40K plus for a car that you have very little "true" information on. The he said she said, I heard from a guy that says he knows a guy at Mitsubishi doesn't count as information.

Good info. I think most of us planning on buying one are pleasantly surprised. Prices only went up marginally, and that was expected.
MSRP might be an issue at first, but in a few months you will be able to get them for MSRP. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have a reputation with the dealer where you got your VIII or IX.

I'd like to have HID's, but not the rest of the junk that I would be forced to buy with it....
