Help me get an idea how the car drives.
Why is there even a discussion in this thread? You can't tell what an Evo is going to drive like by trying to judge how the Lancer drives. If you want to feel an Evo, then you need to drive an Evo. Period. Close thread already to stop the pointless bickering.
what was hilarious was the "understeer is almost non existent." compared to what? not moving at all? Even S2K's understeer more than most people would like, so to go so far as to say that "understeer is almost non existent" in a lancer is pretty ridiculous. take that thing to a road course or at least an autocross and watch it push like a pig with a broken leg the first time you try to take it into a corner too hard.
the guy should stop looking at lancers and go look at something that can actually handle.

I agree, how can a stock FWD car with no LSD have almost non-existant understeer? When you take a 25mph onramp at 35? Dynamically virtually all FWD cars understeer.
Even the IX and STI have significant understeer stock. Don't tell me "but when I lift in the middle of the turn it oversteers!" You're not supposed to lift mid-turn - stop watching ricer videos!
Suspensions and LSD's can make a FWD car handle better...but when properly driven at the limit they will still understeer.
Why doesn't the OP just go drive an EVO?
ODUB - you're my hero for today

Another A.D.D. follower.
We already established that.
And we made a justification on it as well.
Please read the damn posts.
