price before taxes would be better, different areas have different tax rates, so OTD prices will be all over the place

California dealers are selling them for $2k under sticker, so anything you pay over that is too much.

Well, yes and no. I would agree that over msrp is too much, but if you are in rural NY for example, it would not necessarily be fair to say that. It matters where you are as to what is fair to pay. I certainly would not pay more than it would cost to buy from california dealer and have shipped over. The dealerships in socal are getting tons of these cars and are blowing them out. Dealers in other regions may only be getting a few and will sell them for more/per unit

i think that this time around more dealers will get on the EVO and then RA wagon because of the success of the new lancer, i know my dealer has a whole bunch on order and is expecting about 5-7 of them to shop up on 2/9. When i called them a year and a half ago, they had none on the lot and non on order.

This is invoice right?

so you're saying $33,800
-$2,000 SS package
- $40 wheel locks
- $650 destination

Invoice on the basic GSR Should be $31, 110.00

Mrsp $ 32,990 a saving of $ 1,780 if you payed 100 over invoice.

you did the math, and yes it's $100 over invoice. For those that don't believe, let's place a $500 bet and I'll show bill of sale, that should take care of your doubts, come on...

I just spoke with the Olympia Wa. dealer and as usual for Washington they are marking them up. They told me 40K firm no negotiating. Well see how many will pay that I would rather fly to California and drive mine back.
