I'm in Flagstaff and its snowing. My friend Andrew (Dyno4mance), flew out with me, and he's been taking pics. I'm at a Del Taco holding my laptop in the air to gank wifi from a Hanpton Inn. Will update with lots of info later.

One thing I want to say right now and get it out of the way. This car is still fully an Evo. It drives like an Evo, the rack is quick like an Evo, it sounds like an Evo (thrumming inline four with loud stock exhaust). No rear wiper and the addition of cruise is a bit odd, but I have oodles of driving impressions. I just have to get the heck outta the snow.

Here's a few pics. The car is filthy right now. I'm just over halfway and in Amarillo, TX tonight. I promise I will post more and write a good IX vs X comparo when I get a chance to catch my breath. We're going to try to make it back the rest of the way home tomorrow.

PS: I left the white sticker strip in front of the hood to protect against chipping from all the rock salt.

Damn. I should have looked at this earlier. You just went through Albuquerque. I would have pointed out some freakishly good new mexican food. Hell I even would have given you free roadcourse time if you ran with my datalogger.

have fun!
