Okay, I am back into Florida with my ONE WAY TRIP pass from California, and the Florida Tag agencys, wont register my vehicle without a TITLE or MSO. Mind you I financed the car in california and paid taxes in california, they did not give me a title obviously as there is a LIEN holder.

I am waiting for Mark & Adrian to call me due to the time difference, but does anyone else know what needs to be done.

I have Insurance, Bill of Sale, proof of tax payment etc.

Hope someone can help, also I dont even have a paper tag, only a One Way Trip paper on the wind sheild.

You need to have the tag agency contact your lienholder (written request). I work at a credit union and we have sent CA title to Florida so our member could register his car there. Easy.

 

you can ask for a temp plate from southcoast if you paid the taxes in CA and they can actually give you a tag valid for 30 days. If it is a one way pass then you probably did not pay CA taxes. They should give you a check to pay for the sales tax locally. Those documents can be faxed to you right away with no problems. When I bought my evo out of state, they gave mo not just a one way tag but something that is valid for 30 days since it is still registered under the dealers name until I finalized my paperworks.

 

Okay so far what I have found out so far, They are sending me an MSO, which should arrive in a few days, I did pay 7.75% sales tax, and it was part of the total financed. They could problably send me a temp tag, I honestly dont know why they didnt give me one. But if the MSO arrives in a few days I can register the car and get my tag with that.
