No, I didn't get the car yet, I'm assuming it still hasn't come in. I can't believe we get cars here 1 month later than everywhere else. Pisses me off.

I'm anxious to get the X I am just so busy with my EVO8 still, the intake manifold testing etc. We've been swamped. I think we built another 4 engines this week. We had to do some serious cleaning too to fit the new X in the back bay of the shop.........busy busy busy.

I hope it comes in Monday.

How does Mentor not have theirs in yet?

I'm in Bowling Green and the dealership nearby has had their X for 2 weeks now!

 

It will be very interesting to see Buschur Racings's thought on the X once they have had a chance to evaluate it. It is also great to see another quality vendor getting involved in the development of performance parts for this platform.

I think the X has more promise than a lot of people give it credit for. I had a chance to drive one last week and I would take it as is (stock) over my modified VIII as far as a daily driver is concerned. My modified VIII is more of a weekend fun car and for that I definitely prefer it over the stock X.

 

I think the other shops hijacked Dave's EVO X. They like the head start they have on testing parts and want to keep it that way.

I don't understand how a Mitsu dealership only 20 minutes away has two EVO X's and the one nearest to me has yet to take delivery on one.

 

I think Dave is sandbagging. He's going to post pics of the car with his stage 1 of mods installed and a ten second timeslip resting inside it.
