Wheel lock key- Evo X

I just noticed I didn't get a wheel lock key. Did you guys get one? Where was it when you took delivery of the car?

Thanks!

Seth

To the right of the spare, under the carpet/cardboard.

I just had a flat and went to change mine and my key is missing as well. I called the dealership and they "Sorry we don't know what to tell you." Any ideas? Apparently you need the number on the bag to get the replacement key. I cannot drive to them to have them look at it, it is flat and I cannot remove the wheel.

^^bang a 19mm 12point socket on it and that will get it off. then you can change the tire and take it to the dealer.

you should have a set of wheel locks on each rim, I thought all EVO's came with them.

Early Xs had this. My first SSS did. My second one does not. Almost a 2 and a half year old thread, lol.

I hate the wheel locks on my MR. I've been meaning to buy some extra lug nuts to take off those stupid locks...

The stock MR wheels look pretty nice. I'm not sure how often stock wheels are stolen but they seem like a good idea to me.

I had the tire shop pop them off when I went in to get new tires. They had a "universal" kit that they banged on there and impacted off easily. Too easy, if you catch my drift.

No wheel lock here either.. But the stock wheels don't look nice enough to be stolen I hope?

I finally found mine, it got misplaced in my trunk somehow. It was in between the tire and the tool compartment, down in one of the little cutouts in the foam. No bag like everyone told me, just the key.

little off topic here folks... where you store your lock key?

- in rear compartment where the tool is
- hang it around somewhere like the washer fluid compartment
- just in the glove box
- somewhere secret you don't even remember?
