I keep mine with the tools. Side note, I also wrote down my key number and stored it in my glovebox with registration and in my house. After my scare with not being able to find it, I ain't gonna take any chances.

I keep mine at the house I don't drive far enough. I can alway call a friend or family member to pick up the key for me if i'm stuck some where.
