I read this in Motor trend mag don't think this is a repost. i am going to chicago autoshow friday and they have callet Mitsu RA compact coupe. 310lb/tq and 210ps??? and extensive use of carbon fiber very light
Does anyone know what this is i am very interested in this
I think mitsu can kill acura RDX , X3, or any other small SUVs if it brings Montero AWD with evoX engine

You know, it seems Mitsubishi is really competing with everyone now.
The Lancer vs Corrola, Mazda 3, Civic, etc..
The Lancer RA vs the WRX, 135i, etc....
The Evo vs 335i, Audi, etc...
And now their SUV line and other concept cars including the Eclipse!

As far as Concept RA goes, it's supposed to preview the next generation Eclipse I guess or Mitsubishi wants to use the new Lancer platform and create a Lancer Coupe maybe? And as far as the use of carbon fiber for weight reduction, I am more than sure every car company would love to offer this and make their cars lighter but then again an average Mitsubishi car wouldn't cost $20K but would become much more expensive. But I think soon we will see weight reduction measures in all car manufacturers, they all realize the problem but they have to comply to safety standards while not increasing prices too much.
