Future Ford Focus rocks
Wow! If the Evo7 doesnt come here, i'm gonna get a Ford Focus !
Yep, read the following and be amazed !!
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk
Basically, there will be a Focus Coupe which is designed by Pininfarina(?) and looks stunning! In 2003/2004, there will be a 4wd version with the 300hp cosworth engine. Ford is leaning towards performance cars.
Much better looking than the Evo7 or the fugly new impreza(what the hell were they thinking??).
In other news, Skoda is going to release a limited edition WRC version of the Octavia RS. No specs on it.

Powered by a 220bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, the four-seater is based on a four-wheel-drive chassis that will provide the underpinnings for the next-generation Ford Focus, set for launch in 2003
Described as a coupé, the Start is also equipped with a roof that slides into a hidden bay at the back, like Porsche's 911 Targa. The body and roof of the show car are finished in blue-green panels, but it's possible the roof of the production model could be glass.
To operate the fully automatic top, the driver simply presses a button and the whole process is completed in a few seconds. Inside, the Start offers drivers a sporty interior, complete with bucket seats. The gearlever is mounted high in the transmission tunnel, while the spare wheel is visible through the rear windscreen, becoming a decorative feature of the boot. The result is an interior that blends luxury with race car simplicity.
Although decisions are still being made about the future of the Start, it is likely to go into production before 2004. Both front and four-wheel-drive variants will be available, as well as an engine range that promises to include a 300bhp Cosworth-built turbo. Talking about Ford's future cars, European design chief Chris Bird hinted there would be few hurdles for projects such as the Start to clear as they made their way towards the assembly line. "I think you'll see many more performance products in Ford's portfolio in the near future. We now have a strong range that will provide the building blocks for many ambitious projects."
