Road and Track Article

sorry if this is a repeat. Did a search.

About the article in road and track on the Evo X (SST and GSR versus the Subie WRX STI). The best track times at willow springs has the SST almost one second better than the GSR. Since it was a pro driver one would consider these results representative of the potiential of each car. The track data suggests he is carrying more speed into turn one and seems to be braking later and the same in other high speed corners. Do you all think this is the Bilstein shock and Eibach spring package that apparently the GSR does not have? What other differences could account for this, since it is a very large margin?

It has to do with not worrying about upsetting the car with downshifts whilst driving the SST.

I would buy that if it was a less skilled driver, but this guy was a pro (numerous pro titles and has driven in three Indy 500's and finished in the top 15 three times).
