Well I called my mitsubishi dealer today to find out when the new evo X models are coming and low and behold eight of them today arrived , yes eight evo xs (they are the best evo selling dealer..or so the saleman told me) anyway long story short I was talking to the guy and he said several things that surprised me:

1) A guy came in and dropped 15K and wants his new evo X shipped to jamaica
2) another guy paid cash and is shipping his to latvia
3) the sticker price is 43,735..yes 43K he "offered" one to me for me 38K cash
4)try as he might he dissed all previous evo models as "overpriced, obsolete models"
5) Some one some where attempted to kill a colombian drug lord and he was driving his evo and he got away in it..the car got shot up but he still got away...because he was driving an evo...again this is what the saleman told me


All this time I kept thinking to myself "geez this guy sucks at selling evos" not even once did he mention warranty, car performance, or anything along those lines,
so finally after drooling over the car I realized that I simply cannot afford an evo x now, I am saving up for an 06 if prices drop a bit (22k~25k). As I walked away from the dealer (and drove by twice) I thought "you would think that a guy selling those types of cars would be better versed or at least like what he does.." seems to me he didn't.

 

WTF, was he smoking crack, meth, heroin, a pound of weed, or what. I want to know, seriously.

 

Ummm, ya. They need to find out what their salesman are smoking, sniffing, shooting up, etc before they hire them.

i would walk away and just start talking to another sales person, if that one seemed to be living on another planet, try another one until you get to the manager, or the owner. i would assume someone there would know what they are doing.

anywho, keep up the search and you will enjoy the IX once you get it

 

Yeah they are kinda retarded.. The day I bought/test drove mine, the salesman could barely get the car outa the lot.. When I started driving it, he goes "wow, you really do know how to drive this"... I thought that was funny.. It was at Lehmann Mits.. Kendall and Lehmann are owned by the same person.. The car I test drove came from Kendall as the manager was driving it.. All in all, It was a long day considering they wanted 10k over sticker.. Took mr from 10am thru 7pm to get them to give it to me for 1k over sticker.. Im a sucker, oh well... But I still love my babies...

yeah I heard the same story "only the manager can drive it" ,,let me get this straight you have 4 evos? I am pretty sure I know who you are, I heard stories about you yesterday from one of the salesguys....congrats I thought they "stiffed" you for 6K over the sticker price

 

I stopped by Kendall Mitsu today and I saw 4 there. Only 1 was sold. They don't look to bad in person, just a little bulky. I also got a strange salesman...He just followed me around and said about 3 things. Seemed like it was his first day or just scared to talk.

 

dude the dealers in south florida are a bunch of lazy ****s
i wanted the GTS in blue with the S&S package and the tech/navi package and a 5 speed.
about four dealers said oh yea of course we can find you it.
then one kept tryin to just sell us different colors.
one dealer didnt contact us back with anything until 2 months after we found the cars ourselves.
and one just kept saying they were looking
we ended up driving to Ocala, Florida to pickit up.
we live in broward lmao
