So i decided to go to the dealer yesterday and check out the X since ive never seen one in person. Well, car looks very good, i was impressed. The seats i didnt like, the cloth looked very cheap, ill take my IX seats any day over those. Interior other wise was 10x better than the VIII/IX one.. New engine setup looks great, good amount of room by the firewall to fit a 35R or something in that nature. Saw one with the Aerokit on it and i didnt like it at all. Looked a bit too fast and the furious The graphite grey and the blue one looked great and very stand out!

So like always, dealer tried to get me to trade in my IX and tried to sell me a X. I said no and that i was selling my IX as it is.. My jaw dropped when i saw the price on one was $39,899!!WTF!!! I told the guy they were out of their minds and i rather pay 40k for a bmw..

funny thing is that when i explained the new things about the motor and the whole car overall compared to the previous generation, the guy seemed clueless lol!! His face was like, "wtf is he talking about?" LOL!!!!! How do they expect to sell a car when they dont know anything!!

Well, i wanted to test drive it but i was in a hurry, maybe ill go back this week and drive one, curious to see how it compares to my IX

 

the salesmen was clueless too at my local dealership.
First he was telling me that they have auto EvoX in stock...
He was telling me that it can outrun the F430!
Then he tells me that its very limited production and that they can't even order a WW for me if they try. (they have 3 Red instead)

I really like the exterior of the car and thought they improved on the inside as well. Those wheels looks way better in person, I was thinking that was the first mod of it when I got mine.

I went and looked and they wouldn't let anyone drive it unless they filled out paperwork and proved ready to buy! But it was ok to look and sit in them . SalesMGR is supposed to get a demo this or next week and call. We will see. But yeah $40k no leather or moonroof.

 

salesmen are typically complete idiots. when i checked out the x the sales guy didnt even know the washer tank and battery were in the back. i popped the trunk to take a peek at the space and he said "wow... there isnt much room is there..."

i opened the flaps to see what was behind them and he was just amazed.

"why is the battery back here!!?"

yeah i went to the Mitsu dealer here and he tried to act like he knew what he was talking about so I said "gee you read the manual, good job" then i threw some facts at him and showed him he wasnt just talking to some idiot kid off of the streets.
Then i saw the price tag on the X and almost crapped myself.

 

So wait...Miguel, didnt you say on the Orlando thread that you werent going to buy one etc, the IX was your last EVO etc? Hmm why sample the food if your not gonna place an order? I think your bullsh!ttin! LOL
