Huge turn off
im not saying that i dont like plastic im saying the fact that its half painted half not looks like ****. Plain and simple it looks cheap. if the hole thing was painted it would look 100% better. Its like mitsu decided well instead of wasteing paint on the wing lets leave it look like crap lol.

i went and checked out the X and was sadly dissapointed because i was planning on purchasing the car.
1. the engine oil cap is made of cheap *** super thin plastic that looks like it would break after the 10th time taking it off.
2. driving to the dealership in an evo ix, the new x seats feel as if they were made for fat people
3. the interior of the car feels like your sitting in a camry or accord, seriously no joke
4. im sorry to say that it feels (sitting inside it, not driving it) and looks more like a lancer rather than an evo.
5. again, cheap plastic in more places than the evo ix. i mean the plastic underneath the wing feels so cheap and i feel that they should have painted it to match or atleast made the surface SMOOTH.

As I posted in another thread, to me the wing looks to be aluminum with a plastic cover

2. You're the only person on this site who believes the X seats suck. The thigh bolstering is much bigger than previous US models and would, in fact, hinder fat people. You do know the US seats get dumbed down due to all the fat people here, right?
3. You drive a IX and you're criticising the interior of any car? For real?
4. Take a trip to Pep Boys, I'm sure they have some bits you can stick on the outside to fix that.
5. Don't get the SSS. Problem solved.

Hard to get rid of those damn thing, people dont even want to pay $100 for them, and they cost $1200 new.
1. I've bought many cars based on how well the oil cap was made. In fact, I was going to buy a 430 but the oil cap just sucked.

i'm pretty sure that sometime a vendor or mitsubishi will make a carbon fiber replica of the original evo x spoiler. i think it would be nice looking! Also correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't the mitsubishi carbon spoiler the most produced (in total numbers) carbon fiber car part for a standard production vehicle in history?

So i finally went and looked at the evo X in person. All in all i really did like the car, untill.... I saw the wing. ITS PLASTIC wtf?! If im going to spend that kind of money on a new car im not going to have a plastic wing. Its tacky as hell IMO! Either way i do like the Evo X. Sorry for the rant lol 
The stock exhaust isn't even titanium wtf
Sorry I didn't like them either. But maybe the MR leather ones will change my mind!

are you sure that wing isn't polycarbonate?? its a really strong and lightweight material (a kind of plastic). its the kind of stuff missiles are made of. hell, polycarbonate is even used to make bulletproof windows. but, thats just a guess, i've no idea what the wing is made out of.
I think what the OP is meaning by plastic, is the rough finish, flat black abs plastic...i do agree that it is a bit tacky, it could at least be painted gloss or something, but it is pretty nit-picky to judge it based on that...BUT i come offering a simple solution, trade me wings...
