Huge turn off
1. I've bought many cars based on how well the oil cap was made. In fact, I was going to buy a 430 but the oil cap just sucked.
2. You're the only person on this site who believes the X seats suck. The thigh bolstering is much bigger than previous US models and would, in fact, hinder fat people. You do know the US seats get dumbed down due to all the fat people here, right?
3. You drive a IX and you're criticising the interior of any car? For real?
4. Take a trip to Pep Boys, I'm sure they have some bits you can stick on the outside to fix that.
5. Don't get the SSS. Problem solved.

I sat in a new X on Friday night - Apex Silver - IMHO, I thought the car looked so much better in person then from what I have seen in pics.
The car looks great from all angles too......My gripes are small - I thought the wing was hideous - made it so you could not even see out the back......I think the smaller wing might be better, but I have not seen one. The other think I noticed was how high the dash and doors seen when you sit in the car - I'm 6' tall and I felt like I was boxed in. The pillars are very heavy compared to the IX - the C pillars in particular are huge.....the engine bay is kind of meh too if you ask me......
these are minor grips that i'm sure would disappear once you get on boost.
I love my IX, but I am sure i could get used to an X too!

this thread has sure been a good read. man the things that some people point out are something. plastic is plastic your gonna find it even on a Ferrari. But in Ferrari quailty of course.
