X needs mudflaps!

After reading about all the paint issues on other threads, I got a bit nervous and inspected my evo. sure enough, the paint on the side-skirts in front of the rear wheels are already scratched up quite a bit. My x has less than 1k mi on it, so it was quite surprising to see this already.

As soon as rally armor comes out with something decent, i think this is the mod to have for general upkeep if nothing else. likewise, if anyone sells any mudflaps for a reasonable asking price, pls let me know. Seeing how bad things look, I would suggest throwing on a set of mudflaps asap after you get your X.

I apparently need to go look for these paint threads. I am not having any issues that I didnt have with the VIII. The paint is the same as it was before. No better, or worse, and still comes unpolished and un-waxed, from the factory.

Definitely give Russell a shot. He's got the Mitsu ones and they look awesome. I already have a set on order myself.

If I were you guys I would file a complaint with MMSA or your local dealer. This seems like a real issue/design flaw to me. I just couldn't see my investment of around 35-40k+ being destroyed by road debris with less than break in mileage on it.

Just a suggestion though! I am sure that Mistu would be willing to make accommodations to fix this flaw if enough people complained.

Regards,

-Nate
